Here are some short descriptions of our volunteer opportunities so you may find something that fits with your schedule -- there will be more detailed information forthcoming on these events as the year progresses.

Walk-A-Thon: Students collect pledges and walk at Ryan Field to earn them. This activity takes place Tuesday, October 16, in the morning.

Trunk or Treat: An evening Halloween Party held in the All Purpose Room. Parents also have the option of decorating their cars and handing out candy.

Book Fair: This event takes place during school hours, and begins after Halloween. Volunteers assist students with placing orders, return books to cabinets at the end of sale, and total their sales.

Shred Day:  We sponsor two Community Shred Days. One in November and the other in April. These events take place on Saturdays. Eco Shred provides the service and all proceeds go to our school. Volunteers greet those who arrive to have their personal documents shredded.

Festival of Trees Christmas Bazaar: This event features Breakfast with Santa, photos with Santa, a free craft activity for children, and a variety of vendors. We will be raffling off donated Christmas trees -- decorated by volunteers -- and items from a chinese auction. This year it takes place on Saturday, November 17.

Shopping Spree: This is an opportunity for the students to select Christmas gifts for their families. Volunteers help children select gifts and wrap them. This event takes place at the school during weekdays.

Campbell's Labels, or Tyson Labels: Our label programs can easily be done from home. Chairpersons collect the labels sent in to school, mail them to the company, and our school receives a check.
