Trunk or Treat is a fun event that allows families to
celebrate Halloween in a safe environment. Parents volunteer
to decorate the trunks of their cars, trucks, and vans in a fun and kid-centric
way. Fun examples that might inspire you can be found HERE and HERE. Children dress in costume and walk around the school parking
lot while the adults hand out candy at their trunks.
Bags of candy are donated by SMSM families prior to
Trunk or Treat; the candy is then divided among the Trunkers on the
night of the event.
