On Friday, May 24th, we will have a red, white, and blue free change of pace to honor veterans in anticipation of Memorial Day Weekend.
We will also have a ceremony at 9:30 AM around our flag pole with some of our veteran friends. Kindly send in names of deceased friends or family members who have served our country whom you wish to have remembered at the ceremony. You are welcome to attend.
On Memorial Day we will have a float in the Derby-Shelton parade! Our band will be playing and our students will ride on the float. If your student signed up to ride on the float remind them to wear clothing with St. Mary-St. Michael School on it (school team shirts, t-shirts, spirit wear, etc.) The parade begins in Derby so we will meet in the parking area of the school. The drop off point is on Howe Avenue in Shelton near the Boys and Girls Club. It's about an hour ride, AFTER we begin to move there are no bathroom facilities available!
