HSA May News

Parents mark your calendar for our last HSA Meeting of the school year on Wednesday May 6^th, 2015.

Our agenda includes a few hot topics:

1.      We will say farewell to our 8^th grade parents.  Join us for our Recognition & Appreciation reception @ 7:00 pm, in the All Purpose Room.  Cake and coffee will be served.  Parents from all grades are encouraged to attend.

2.      We will thank our HSA Board members for all of their dedication and hard work throughout the school year.  We will also announce and congratulate the new HSA Board members for the 2015-2016 school year.

The HSA Board has one Open position.  We are looking for a volunteer to fill our Vice President position.   The Vice President roles and responsibilities are as follows:

•      Responsible for the assessment program. Maintain/update family database to reflect all assessment funds and hours accumulated over the course of assessment year (July 1st to June 30th). Receive volunteer hours; list of funds raised by event chairs within two weeks of event completion. Receive bingo hours and lunchroom/office volunteer hours at least one week prior to assessment statements being distributed. Print assessment statements and give them to office staff the Wednesday of report card week.

-    Peachwave – Wednesday May 13^th

-    White Elephant Tag Sale – Saturday May 16^th – We still need   more people to sign-up for tables

-     Mother’s Day Plant Sale – Thursday May 7^th to Sunday May 10^th

-          Memorial Day Breakfast – Monday May 25^th

-          Field Day – Wednesday June 10^th

-          Duck Race – Saturday June 27^th
