Congratulations to seventh grade student, Makayla Naranjo who won the "Family Day" poster contest sponsored by the Archdiocese of Hartford.
"Family Day" is September 23rd and encourages families to enjoy dinner together. Naranjo's poster will be used by the Archdiocese to promote "Family Day" throughout the year.
Maria Maynard, Deputy Superintendent of Schools of the Archdiocese of Hartford and Rev. Janusz Kukulka, Pastor of St. Mary Church presented Naranjo with an iPod and a framed copy of her winning poster.
Fifty-four elementary schools in the Archdiocese participated in the contest.
