Operation Christmas Child

     Our Student Council is sponsoring Operation Christmas Child again this year.   Last year, over 30 boxes were sent to children in Columbia, Costa Rica, and Romania. Students are asked to bring items that are age appropriate for their class to fill shoe boxes which will be sent to poor children around the world by the organization, Samaritan Purse. The Collection will start on Monday, October 24^th and go until November 16^th.

Items have to be in by November 16^h so the boxes can be labeled, sealed, and organized before dropping them off at a Samaritan Purse location on November 19th. (Saturday). Shipping costs $7 for each box, so monetary donations in any amounts will be gratefully accepted if you can’t shop.

Among Items to be considered are:

Crayons, pencils, pens, markers, bracelets & other jewelry,, gloves, hats, small action figures, memo pads, toy cars, individually wrapped candy (excluding chocolate), hair ties, hair clips, socks,  playing cards, toothbrushes + toothpastes, unscented soap, hand sanitizer, markers, small stuffed animals, bubbles, small bounce balls,  yo-yo’s, small travel games.  Please help to put a smile on the face of a child!
