Well the show is over, but what a show it was!...
The first night was standing room only followed by a nearly
sold out second night! We were honored with participation by important figures
of our community, namely a live vocal cameo by our own Mrs. Coppola & a walk
on part of the "Mayor", by Derby Mayor Stafferi. The Drama Club
members did a superb job on and off stage and we couldn't be more proud of
their work. We had an adorable treat with the
K-3 Grades who sang so sweetly for a couple of musical
interludes. There were many volunteers who gave of their time and talents to
make the production a lot of fun and a great success. We received numerous
community responses to our requests for donations and loans of monies and
materials.
We will begin winding down club activities as we approach the
end of the year but are poised to begin anew next year a little richer and a
lot wiser. Once again we thank all involved that helped to make our production
possible. We bid a fair adieu to our graduating 8th grade students, wishing
them the best in all their
endeavors and pray they continue in their theatrical pursuits. We look
forward to ushering in some new talent from the upcoming 4th grade class as
well as the return of this year's talented members. Go Dramatics!
All Our Best,
Stacey, Autumn, Susan
& Mrs. DeCrisanti
The Drama Club
Committee
