Jamie Hulley Arts Foundation’s annual Evening for the Arts Gala

Jamie Hulley Arts Foundation’s annual Evening for the Arts gala on Saturday September 6, 2014at the Quick Center on Fairfield University’s campus in Fairfield CT.  

The event features the music of Dr. K’s Motown Revue as well as over 150 silent auction items.  There will be complimentary wine, beer, soft drinks and light appetizers.  All proceeds go to out scholarship and educational grants programs. 

Tickets are $40 in advance and $45 at the door and may be purchased through the Quick Center Box Office at 203-254-4010

The Hulley Foundation gives grant money each year for our Drama Club.  In previous years, it has sponsored the Dancing Class and Art Enrichment.

Now Enrolling for the 2014-2015 School Year!

St. Mary-St. Michael School in Derby  is registering students for the 2014-2015 school year in all grades, Prek through grade 8.  St. Mary - St. Michael School offers part time and full time prek-3 and prek-4.  The school also offers full day kindergarten and a Before and After School program.  The school is open from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily. Eco Shred will be shredding personal documents for $10 per bag at St. Mary - St. Michael School tomorrow Saturday, April 26th, from 9AM - 12 Noon. Bring a bag of legal documents, banking statements, tax papers and other personal papers to be shredded for $10.00 and help our school earn money! This school fundraiser is an eco-friendly  chance to clean out, save the environment and support the school.

The Festival of Trees Christmas Bazaar is this Saturday!

St. Mary - St. Michael's Festival of Trees Christmas Bazaar takes place Saturday, November 23rd, from 10AM - 3PM at the school, 14 Seymour Avenue, Derby. 

Join us for Breakfast with Santa from 10AM -11:30AM

Egg and Cheese Sandwiches, Coffee, or Orange Juice 

$3.00 per person

After breakfast Santa's Snack Bar will open and serve:

DERBY - Vendors are being sought for the Festival of Trees - Christmas Bazaar at St. Mary-St. Michael School, 14 Seymour Ave.

The annual fair will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 23.

If you are looking for an event in which to sell crafts, eight-foot tables are available for $30 a day.

Saints Open - Save the Date!

The 3rd Annual Saints Open Golf Tournament to benefit St. Mary-St. Michael School will be held on Monday, October 7, 2014 at Race Brook Country Club in Orange.  The Co-Chairs of this event are Nick DeFelice and Al Altieri, two graduates of the school.

Registration begins at 9:30 AM followed by a BBQ lunch at 11:00 and Shotgun Start Scramble Format at 12:30.  Open Bar and dinner will follow the tournament.

5th ANNUAL HOUSY RIVER DUCK RACE

The race will start at the Derby/Shelton Bridge. Watch the ducks along the Derby Greenway as they race down the Housatonic River. The first 65 rubber ducks to cross the finish line will win exciting prizes. Our top prize this year is $1,000! Duck Raffle tickets are $5 and on sale at the following Derby locations: St. Mary-St. Michael School, St. Mary Church, St. Michael Church, Mattei's Deli, Maria's Hair Gallery, Styles/Nails by Cory and in West Haven at Physicians Physical Therapy. They also will be on sale at Derby Day.

Drama Club Presents Play At St. Mary-St. Michael School | Valley Independent Sentinel

The Dramatics of St. Mary-St. Michael School will present “Pigeon Plays and Stone Soup.”

The production will run on Friday, April 5 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, April 6 at 5:30 p.m.

Tickets are $5.

St. Mary-St. Michael school is located on 14 Seymour Ave., in Derby. Please arrive a half-hour before the show starts to purchase tickets and find seating.

Open House Wednesday, January 30th

St. Mary - St. Michael School, 14 Seymour Avenue in Derby, will hold Open House during Catholic Schools Month. 

Open House will be held on Wednesday, January 30th from 10:30 AM - 3:00 PM and in the evening from 5:00 – 7:00 PM.

To be eligible for Kindergarten, children must be 5 years old by December 31, 2013.  The school also offers a Pre-K Program for 3 and 4 year old children, which may be full time or part time.

St. Mary-St. Michael School is a Pre-K - Grade 8 School which offers:
